Did you find my Flotsam??

If you found my Flotsam you have located the QR code attached to it, scanned it in and you ended up on this YouTube site: http://youtu.be/IQlwJZExgsc

The Flotsam you found is part of a transmedia children’s storytelling research project at USC’s Annenberg Innovation Lab. You can check out the link here: http://www.annenberglab.com/project/CYM:Children&39;sTransmediaStorytelling/Concept/148

So let me tell you what I know about my Flotsam that you found!

There are two pieces of Flotsam that I have released out into the world. One piece of Flotsam I inherited, and one piece was given to me specifically to release in a Flotsam trade off. Which one did you get? Who knows?

Did you get this one?

Or did you find this one?

Both of these pieces of Flotsam originated in Los Angeles, CA. The child’s hand was created by a 3D printer! (What is a 3D printer you ask? Check it out:http://biggeekdad.com/2011/07/3d-printer/)

And the other bag of Flotsam contains the ingredients of a story of one woman’s life. It is up to you to figure out what the story is. Did you figure it out? Do share here!

So, did you find my Flotsam? I guess it is your Flotsam now. Please leave comments on the Flotsam YouTube page and let us know what happens next!!

Where and how did you find the Flotsam?

Please share the story of your Flotsam and then pass it on (with the QR code of course so we can track it)! Don’t forget to re-release the Flotsam so that it might continue its journey!

It is the holiday season here in California, so I wish you Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and an Awesome New Year!!

Best,

Desdemona
